The Prototype Fishing Community Sustainable Model: the Case of Hadlek Community, Trat.

Hat Lek Subdistrict Khlong Yai District, Trat Province. It is currently a riverside fishing community, Due to the physical characteristics of the area with the east side adjacent to Khao Banthat, which is the Gulf of Thailand, the villagers live in many waterfront homes. The settlement of communities in this area was based on the inland waterways.

The Khlong Makham and the Khlong Son communities are currently changing and taking place within community. Because of the effects of global warming, combined with overfishing in commercial fisheries, the marine environment is deteriorating. This includes the passage of the Marine Department’s law, which makes areas where construction on water, such as rivers, canals, and seas, illegal. Since there is no title deed and those buildings affect the environment. The villagers will not be able to rebuild as well as the structure must not be a permanent structure.

In terms of architectural design, it is focused on the improvement and development of Khlong Son and Khlong Makham areasProvince in terms of housing, fisheries, conservation, and trade in the area. which the project will include areas for learning and preservation, local markets, and the design of villagers’ living spaces. There are 5,047 square meters in total.
