In Daily

Since the beginning of the industrial age, machinery has replaced manpower, and products have been copied in large quantities. Convenience and speed have brought about the compression of the process of things. Efficiency dominates modern life, and daily life has become a part of work. As the function of the object improves, the event is compressed to a button to complete, the scattered objects lose their system, and they are built in a freely replaceable state in daily life, and the space is only for accommodating various useful objects. Extending to the division of housing, LDK has become the norm. The bed is placed in the bedroom, and the living room has a sofa… The process is compressed to the function of the object, and the purpose of the space is to carry the object. Places and processes are replaced by gestures, which occasionally become absolute commands.

While accepting the convenience brought by mechanization, can we find a buffer zone, a classification method other than efficiency, and a meaning other than work and function from this working state. When the event is unfolded, the object begins to relate to its surroundings, just like a word game in which a letter can be combined with a different word from the surrounding letters. The object breaks away from the functional orientation of multiple narrative possibilities. The meaning of the object is not limited to its own function, but to extend To the relationship with surrounding objects and spaces, in which people transform from observers to narrators, rather than following instructions (functions).
